Powertrain Communication Software ECM offers three
software programs that bring vehicle datastream information (OBDII and
manufacturer-specific) into your PC. Datastream information comes from the
OBDII connector on the vehicle. All three programs require a Snap-on MT2500
scanner (available from a Snap-on dealer or ECM) to interface between the
vehicle and the PC. Use of the MT2500 ensures that you will be able to
communicate with future vehicles since Snap-on continuously updates the
MT2500's removable data cartridge.
